🔓 By Default, Your Moments Are Public
Unless you change your privacy settings, your moments are:
Audience | What They Can See |
Followers | All your moments in their feed |
Subscribers | All moments + instant notifications when you post |
Discover Viewers | If your moment qualifies (via C-Rank), it may appear in the public Discover Feed or Map |
Profile Visitors | Anyone who visits your profile can see your active and past moments |
👁️ Visibility Also Depends on Quality & Engagement
Even if your account is public:
Moments that include real photos/videos, activities, check-ins, or timers are more likely to be featured in Discover and Map
Low-effort or empty moments may stay limited to just followers or your own profile
🔒 Want More Control? Use Privacy Settings
You can control who sees your moments:
Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy
Choose your preference:
Public (default): Anyone can view, follow, or discover your content
Followers Only: Only people you follow back can view your moments
Private Moments (coming soon): Choose to hide specific moments or make them viewable to selected users only
📍 What About Location-Tagged Moments?
If you tag a location:
It can appear on the Map for other users nearby
People exploring that place can discover your moment later
Your check-in stays as a permanent footfall on that location’s history
🧠 Who Can't View Your Moments?
