Instead of just scrolling through moments, you can now see what’s happening around you on a live interactive map, shared by real people in real time.
📍 What is the Map Feature?
The Map is a live, visual way to discover what people are doing based on their real-time location.
Every pin you see represents a moment someone is sharing — whether they’re at a café, at work, at a concert, or just chilling at home.
You can:
Explore moments around you or across the world
Tap on any pin to view that person’s moment
See who’s active near you right now
Find places where people are hanging out or doing cool things
It’s like Google Maps — but for people and moments, not just places.
🔄 How It Works
🔘 1. When You Share a Moment with Location
If you enable Check-In while posting a moment, your moment appears as a pin on the map
The pin includes your username, activity, and moment type
The moment stays on the map until your timer ends (if you set one)
👁️ 2. When You Explore the Map
Open the Map tab from the bottom menu
Zoom in/out or move around the map to see live pins
Tap any pin to view the full moment — photo, activity, timer, and more
Filter moments based on distance or activity (feature coming soon)
The closer the pin, the more relevant and timely it is to your current location.
🔐 Your Privacy Matters
We get it — location sharing can feel personal. That’s why:
You control whether to show your location when posting a moment
Your exact address is never shown — we only show tagged places or general areas
You can always choose to share a moment without check-in
