⏸️ 1. Deactivate (Take a Break)
Use this option if you want a timeout but plan to come back later:
Go to Profile → Settings
Tap Account
Select Deactivate Account
Confirm your choice
What happens:
Your profile, moments, comments, and history will be hidden from others
Metadata (e.g., username, profile info) will be preserved
You can reactivate immediately by logging back in
This is a good option if you're stepping away without losing your footprint.
❗ 2. Delete Account Permanently
Ready to say goodbye? Follow the steps to erase your presence:
Go to Profile → Settings
Tap Account → Delete Account
Review the ⚠️warning message (deletions are final)
Confirm by entering your password or verification code (email/SMS)
What happens:
Your account, moments, comments, and data are irrevocably deleted
Your username becomes available for others
You’ll need to sign up again if you wish to return
