At Currently, we’re committed to creating a safe, real, and respectful space for everyone. If someone is making you uncomfortable, violating the rules, or behaving inappropriately, you can block or report them in just a few taps.

🛑 Blocking Someone

When you block someone:

  • They can’t see your profile or moments

  • They can’t message you or react/comment

  • You automatically unfollow each other

✅ To Block Someone:

  1. Go to the user’s profile

  2. Tap the ‘⋮’ menu (usually top right corner)

  3. Select Block User

  4. Confirm when prompted

You won’t receive any notifications from them after blocking.

🚨 Reporting Someone

Use this if someone is:

  • Sharing offensive or harmful content

  • Spamming or pretending to be someone else

  • Violating Currently’s Community Guidelines

✅ To Report a User or Moment:

Option 1: From a User’s Profile

  1. Tap the ‘⋮’ menu on their profile

  2. Select Report User

  3. Choose the reason and submit

Option 2: From a Moment

  1. Tap the ‘⋮’ icon on the specific moment

  2. Select Report Moment

  3. Choose your reason (e.g., nudity, hate speech, spam)

  4. Submit

Reports are reviewed by our moderation team — serious violations may result in suspension or removal.

🔄 Can I Unblock Someone Later?

Yes. To unblock:

  1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users

  2. Find the user and tap Unblock

They won’t be notified that they were unblocked or blocked.
